About Our OfferingsCustom Business Process Plugins
We will sit with you to understand your business process. We will document your inputs/outputs of each step and the process that takes place in that step.
Next, we have Kaizen experience that will help us review the entire process and then optimize the flow for maximum reduction in process time and labor.
Finally, we will program that new streamlined process in a WordPress plugin.
Integrate Diverse Systems
Integrate with your existing investment!
Our experts are experienced at accessing plugins and external systems via their API (Application Programming Interface). This is the preferred method of integration.
For those that do not have a formal API, another approach for import/export is via a CSV (Comma-Separated Values) or XML (eXtensible Markup Language) file. This is considered the secondary method of integration.
If the plugin, to be integrated, on your WP site does not have any of the above features, it can be integrated via their database entries. This last approach is only considered if none of the above features are available.

Custom Plugins
A community organization holds multiple “Main Street” crafted events each year.
The original process was very paper and labor intensive.

Original Process
- Six or so months prior to the event, the event chair would go thru paper folders of previous year’s participants to get their USPS mailing address.
- The chair would print up to 300 paper registration papers and instructions and mail them to the addresses on file in those folders.
- The vendors would then fill out the registration form and put those in an envelope with 4 photographs of their booths and a registration check.
- Upon receiving the vendor’s information the chair would call meetings to review the photos with the jury committee and cash the check if approved.
- The chair (with pencil & eraser) would then assign a booth location on paper attempting to keep similar vendors apart. This last step would continue to be iterated as new vendors’ registrations came in.
- The chair would then send (via USPS) a package to the vendors containing: a car dashboard card displaying their name & booth location; a payment receipt and a few more pieces of paper containing arrival instructions, Terms & Conditions, and parking maps.
New Streamlined Process with WordPress Custom Business Process Plugin
- All paper artifacts are online on the website (registration form, registration instructions, terms and conditions, arrival instructions, parking maps, and dashboard cards.
- The event chair selects an event to send an email to all past participants, back to 2015 (the first-year plugin was developed)
- Vendors login; complete registration form; upload pictures, and pay by credit card/PayPal.
- Chair alerts booth jurors to review booth photos. Jurors select approve/unaprove.
- Chair emails approved vendors when booth assignments will be completed.
- Chair sends an email blast to approved vendors with pointers to terms and conditions, arrival instructions, parking maps, and dashboard cards.

Integrate
Diverse Systems
A business association used three different systems that did not talk to each other, requiring someone to perform a manual process to manage data across the three systems.
We developed a custom integration of the three systems that now completely automates the previously manual process.

Original (Manual) Process
- The three systems were Connections Business Directory (CBD) (WordPress plugin), Wufoo Forms, and MailChimp.
- New members and renewing members used Wufoo Forms to enter their data.
- The site admin needed to manually copy the information from Wufoo Forms and paste it into CBD and MailChimp.
- As memberships expired, the admin logged into MailChimp to remove them from the current membership list and enter them in the past membership list.
- Afterwards, as members renewed, the admin logged into MailChimp to remove them from the past membership list and enter them in the current membership list.
Custom Integration with Automated Process
- Using date stamps in the CBD plugin, Wufoo’s Webhooks and GET prefills, and MailChimp’s API, Abidin’s Apps developed an integration of the three systems.
- As a result, whenever a member joins or renews, and pays online, they are automatically made active in CBD and added to the MailChimp paid distribution. Those unpaid were put in a holding queue until paid.
- When a member renews their membership Wufoo Forms is preloaded with their current profile information from CBD.
- A script is automatically run every January 1st (start of the membership period) and those members unpaid for the new year are deactivated in CBD and removed from the paid distribution in MailChimp and added to the unpaid distribution.
